Baptist Health has named Terry Amstutz as vice president and administrator for Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart effective July 30.
Amstutz will be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations at the Stuttgart facility.
Amstutz succeeds Steven Webb, who will become vice president of patient services at the agency’s North Little Rock facility.
Amstutz has 30 years of experience in healthcare, 22 years as a rural hospital administrator mostly in Arkansas.
His background includes serving on the Arkansas Hospital Association Board, being a recipient of the C.E. Melville Young Administrator of the Year Award and the American College of Healthcare Executive Early Career Executive Award. He is also a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Amstutz has a master’s degree from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University.
Amstutz and his wife, Julie, have three children.
