A reported armed disturbance Friday on the west side of Pine Bluff resulted in the arrest of a man who allegedly pointed a gun at two other people.
Antonio Brown, aka Kaylon Spears, 22, was taken into custody after police were sent to 6 Tulip Cove, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said during a court hearing Monday for Brown.
Detective Steve Rucker reported that Brown had gotten involved in an altercation with people at the house, and during the altercation, waved a gun at the other people, who were not identified in court.
Police reported that Brown did not have the gun when they arrived, and claimed he had given it to another person who left the scene.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $25,000 bond for Brown after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault.
Bridgforth appointed the public defender’s office to represent Brown and told him to come back to court May 7 at 9 a.m.
