St. John Missionary Baptist Church at Sherrill will hold its 141st anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest preacher will be the Rev. Charles Hawkins of First Missionary Baptist Church at DeWitt.


A Gospel concert will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. today at Arkansas Convalescent Center. The guests will include the Johnson Family, Heavenly Hearts, Virtuous Angels of Christ and Pastor’s Lil Angels.

Christian Lighthouse Church at Hardin will hold a Gospel singing concert featuring the Messengers of Song, Victory Road, and Pardoned at 5 p.m. today.

Central Baptist Church, 6107 Dollarway Road, will feature the Florida Boys at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Southside Singing Union, 5400 W. 15th Ave., will host its monthly quartet singing meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday. The featured guests will include Sensational Soul Revivals, Mighty Gospelettes, Shining Stars, White Family, Christland, Glorietts and Virtuous.

Moments of Truth Evangelistic Ministries, 116 S. Plum St., will host a free Gospel concert at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.


Prairie Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 2611 Indiana St., will host its youth revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 nightly. The guest evangelist will be Rev. Walter Witherspoon, pastor of True Harvest Missionary Baptist Church at Dumas.

Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 2915 S. Main St., will hold its revival service Wednesday through Friday at 7 nightly. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Aaron Johnson, pastor of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

City wide mission will meet Monday at Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 W. Pullen St., at 1:30 p.m.

Auburn Missionary Baptist Church at Gould will hold an annual Father’s Day program at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. William Jarmon, Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church at McGehee.

Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 E. Seventh Ave., will hold its Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
