Anniversaries/Annuals

Full Faith Christian Center, 1320 E. 17th Ave., will hold its 18th appreciation honoring Pastor Isaac and JoAnn Barron on Sunday.

At 11 a.m. the Rev. Bruce Robinson of Full Faith will be the speaker. At 3 p.m., the Rev. Amelio Howard of Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church will be the guest preacher.

The 157th church anniversary of Mulberry Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 719 S. Ohio St., will be at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest preacher will be the Rev. Walter Witherspoon III, pastor of True Harvest Baptist Church at Dumas.

Concerts/Musicals

The choir at New Community Baptist Church, 321 N. Birch St., choir will hold its first musical concert at 3 p.m. Sunday featuring Gaines Street Baptist Church Choir of Little Rock.

Pine Bluff Women’s Community Choir will present “Songs of Praise 39 Concert” at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pine Hill Baptist Church, 2101 Reeker St.

Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church at Meroney will present its musical program at 6:30 p.m. today.

The guests include Heavenly Stars, New Light Choir, Sisters, New Morning Star Choir, True Vessel and Virtuous.

Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church at Moscow will hold a benefit musical for Dereck Dill at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The guests will include Men in Black, Voices of Heaven, Redix Family, Virtuous and Traveling Kings.

The SEArkansas Community Mass Choir will sponsor a benefit musical for Samuel Rich and Monica Williams at 3 p.m. Sunday at Eudora Baptist Church at Altheimer.

Revival

Amos Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2401 Port Road, will hold its spring revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. The guest evangelist will be the Rev. Leon Williams Sr., pastor of True Vine E Missionary Baptist Church.

First Missionary Baptist Church, 4500 Faucett Road, will hold its spring revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. The guest evangelist will be Rev. Howard Randolph, pastor of New Faith Missionary Baptist Church at Chicago.

New Home Missionary Baptist Church, 2900 S. Catalpa St., will hold its spring revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Frank Harris Jr., pastor of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.

Westside Missionary Baptist Church at Star City will hold its revival services Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Walter Witherspoon Jr., pastor of True Harvest Missionary Baptist Church at Dumas will be the guest preacher.

Kingdom Builders Outreach Church of God in Christ, 3105 S. Apple St., will hold its revival services with the following speakers on these dates at 6:45 p.m.:

Gospel Music Ministries will present “Getting on Track-Doing it God’s Way” at Old St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 1605 W. 16th Ave., at 6 p.m. Sunday. Jenise “Sandy” Blake, pastor of SONLite Ministries will deliver the sermon.

The musical guests include Holly Sisters, Barnes Sisters, Kim Pettus and Friends, Men of Purpose and Spiritualettes.

Family Time Baptist Church and Ministries, 501 Ohio St., will present its fourth annual colorama at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guests include Rev. Levell Bass, pastor of Regenerated Baptist Church, Willing of Pine Bluff, and praise dance by Sharon Singleton.

A benefit program for the pastor, Rev. Woodrow Jackson Jr., will be at Timothy Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1304 S. Apple St. at 6 p.m. today. All singers and musicians are invited.

The annual Women’s Leadership Conference, Pine Bluff District No. 1 Church of God in Christ, Inc. will hold its women’s conference May 5 at Trinity Rehabilitation Restoration Community Development, Inc., 2900 W. Sixth Ave. Registration will be from 8 to 8:30 a.m. The conference includes a social service expo, empowerment sessions on leadership and generational differences, and spiritual enrichment led by Sheryl Banks, a pastor of Canaan Christian Ministries.

Watkin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 800 S. Juniper St., will hold its fellowship service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Larry Kirklin, associate minister at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at Sherrill.
