Anniversaries/Annuals

Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 900 S. Grant St., will celebrate the 25th anniversary honoring its pastor, Rev. Anthony Craig Sr. and Betty Craig.

Today at 6 p.m., will be first lady’s night. The musical guests will be the Williams Singers.

At 11 a.m. Sunday, the guest preacher will be the Rev. David Marks, pastor of Cherry Hill Baptist Church at Moscow.

At the 4 p.m. anniversary celebration, the Rev. Fredrick Anthony of Old St. Paul Baptist Church at West Memphis will deliver the sermon.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church at Sherrill will celebrate its 16th anniversary honoring the Rev. J. Y. Williams Jr. at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest preacher will be the Rev. Leon Williams Sr., pastor of True Vine “E” Missionary Baptist Church.

New Jerusalem No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church, 1005 W. 12th Ave., will celebrate its 10th church anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest preacher will be the Rev. Robert Thomas Sr., pastor of Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

Belmont Missionary Baptist Church at Moscow will celebrate its 149th church anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The guest preacher will be the Rev. Darrell Martin, pastor of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church at Altheimer.

Concerts/Musicals

SEArkansas Community Mass Choir will sponsor a musical benefit program for Lester Price and Tony Price at 7 p.m. today at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church at Altheimer.

Bethel New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2522 N. Pryce St., will host a musical at 6 p.m. today.

The guests will be Heavens Choice, Wonder State, Voices of Faith, and more.

Revival

St. Stephens Church of God in Christ, 4805 W. 14th Ave., will hold its citywide holy ghost revival Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. The guest preacher will be Prophetess C.D. Allen of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 8523 Princeton Pike Road, will hold its spring revival Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. The guest pastor will be Rev. Willie Rodgers of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church at Sherrill.

The Word of Life Ministries, 1717 S. Main St., will host revival Sunday through Tuesday at 7 p.m. nightly.

The guest preacher will be Evangelist Marchell Lee-Donald of Houston, Texas.

Divine Destiny Church of God in Christ, 312 Main St., will host revival services conducted by Superintendent Joe L. Stocker and Crusaders of Christ Team Monday through Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Special Events

Pine Street Missionary Baptist Church at Star City will hold its homecoming celebration at 7 p.m. today.

The guests will include: Humble Hearts, Westside Harmonettes, Jerry Pruitt, and Jacksonville Male Chorus.

Bethel No. 1 Outreach Ministries, 1320 N. Magnolia St., will hold a praise service at 7 p.m. today.

Holy Temple Christian Ministries, 418 W. 34th Ave., will present Evangelist Marchelle Lee-Donald in a miracle deliverance service Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m.

Prairie Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 2611 Indiana St., will hold its candle light drill program at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Willie B. Harris, pastor of Loggy Bayou Missionary Baptist Church at Tillar.

Motley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 794 St. Raphael Road, will hold its annual mission program at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Beverly Jones of Barraque Street Baptist Church.

Living Word Baptist Church, 5617 Sulphur Spring Road, will hold its installation of the pastor service at 3 p.m. Sunday for Rev. Terrance Williams. Rev. George Glass Jr., pastor of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church at Bastrop, La., will be the guest preacher.

City Wide Mission will hold its annual program at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2121 W. 26th Ave., at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Eudora Missionary Baptist Church at Altheimer will celebrate its first appreciation program of its assistant pastor, Elder Wiley Crumpton at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be Elder Luther Spratt, pastor of Star Bethel Missionary Baptist Church at Wabbaseka.

Rev. Travis Harden will deliver his first sermon at 5 p.m. Sunday at Greater Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 3700 W. 13th Ave.

New Town Missionary Baptist Church, 3600 W. Second Ave., will hold its mission conference 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Guest presenter are Rev. Women’s/Men’s Day

Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 W. Pullen St., will hold its annual men’s day service at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest preacher will be the Rev. G.L. Sanders, pastor of McGehee Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at McGehee.

Mount Bayou Missionary Baptist Church at Altheimer will hold its annual women’s day celebration at 11 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Yalonda James of First Assembly of God. Women’s day choir rehearsal will be today at 2 p.m.

Kings Highway Missionary Baptist Church, 2312 Fluker St., will hold its annual men’s day program Sunday. At 11 a.m., the speaker will be David Mobley of Kings Highway. At 3 p.m., the guest preacher will be the Rev. Jimmie Joseph of Star Light Baptist Church at Kinder, La.

College Heights Church of God in Christ, 1313 N. Magnolia St., will host its annual youth gospel meeting at 3 p.m. Sunday. Other activities will continue through Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m.

Westside Baptist Church at Star City will hold its youth’s annual day at 3 p.m. Sunday.
