Wireless company launches network in area

Verizon Wireless announced that its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network was launched in Pine Bluff and White Hall.

The network will offer Internet speeds up to 10 times faster, the company said in a news release.

On Thursday, Verizon introduced its 4G LTE network in 27 new markets.

“We are the only wireless provider to offer 4G LTE in Arkansas, and we arerapidly expanding our coverage across the state,” said Dean Taylor, president of the South Central Region for Verizon Wireless.
