Simmons First National Bank staff Linda Howell, Anna Christine Mabry and Karen Mullikin have been promoted, said Chairman and CEO J. Thomas May in a press release.
Linda Howell has been promoted to operations officer and holds the position of items processing supervisor, a position she has held since January 2011. Howell joined the Simmons First family in 2009 as a financial services representative for Simmons First Bank of South Arkansas prior to transferring to her new role at Simmons First National Bank in 2011.
Howell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business with an emphasis in accounting from National University in San Diego, Calif., where she also attended Western State University School of Law. Howell served three years in the military and achieved the rank of sergeant prior to receiving an honorable discharge.
Howell volunteers as a court-appointed special advocate for Voices for Children of Jefferson and Lincoln counties.
Christy Mabry has been promoted to administrative officer within the Loan Administration Department and holds the position of mortgage customer service representative. She has worked within the mortgage area since joining Simmons First in 1993 as a Mortgage Accounting Clerk.
Mabry is a graduate of North Little Rock, Ole Main and has attended the Institute of Financial Education, completing courses including accounting and mortgage loan servicing.
Karen Mullikin has been promoted to administrative officer within the Loan Administration Department and holds the position of loan system analyst II, a position she has held since 2005. Mullikin has worked for Simmons First for more than 23 years.
Mullikin is a graduate of Watson Chapel High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She has successfully completed multiple American Institute of Banking courses.
Mullikin volunteers with the Salvation Army, the Great Arkansas Cleanup and the Boy Scouts of America and other organizations.
