Farm Bureau leader meets with Ross


Glynn Guenther of Sherrill, Jefferson County Farm Bureau president, met with U.S. Rep. Mike Ross as part of Arkansas Farm Bureau’s County Presidents’ Tour to Washington, D.C. Feb. 28-March 2.

Guenther was among 75 Farm Bureau volunteer leaders who went to Washington to lobby members of Congress on issues of importance to Arkansas agriculture.

In addition to meeting with Arkansas’ delegation from the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, the group also met with officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization.
