Edgewood students succeed at reader tests


Edgewood Elementary School students recently passed 1,060 Accelerated Reader tests. The school participated in a nationwide contest to pass the most tests in one day.

The top readers were first grader Nicholas Deaver, passing 18 tests, and kindergartner Marquez Brently, passing 13 tests.

The top classes were Sandy Bobo’s kindergarten class with 68 tests and Kelli Clement’s first grade class with 173 tests.
