Resident at PB community correction center dies

Francis Tanner, 54, a resident of the Southeast Community Correction Center, 7301 W. 13th Ave., died early Friday from what appears to be natural causes.

Tanner had been placed in the center on charges of forgery and residential burglary from Ouachita County, Rhonda Sharp, spokeswoman with the Department of Community Correction, said.

She was slated to be released to community supervision near the end of April. The State Crime Lab will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, Sharp said.
