The Pine Bluff Police Department will host the 30th annual National Night Out at the Pine Bluff Convention Center from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Scheduled activities include free food, music by the Cummins Prison Band, public awareness booths as well as games and prizes for the children.
Free bus transportation will be provided to and from the venue with numerous stops around town.
Bus number one will stop at 5 p.m. at the Belle Meade Housing Addition; 5:05 p.m. at the Brookshire’s on East Harding Avenue.; 5:15 p.m. at the St. John Apartments; 5:25 p.m. at Jefferson Square Shopping Center; 5:35 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church at West 23rd Avenue. and Poplar Street; 5:45 p.m. at the Brookshire’s at West 28th Avenue and Hazel Street; and 5:55 p.m. at the Brookshire’s at West 28th Avenue and Blake Street.
Bus number two will stop at 5 p.m. at Food King at West 16th Avenue and Linden Street; 5:05 p.m. at the Merrill Center; 5:15 p.m. at the Cottonwood Apartments; 5:25 p.m. at the Brookshire’s on Dollarway Road; 5:35 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club at 2701 Reeker St.; and at 5:45 p.m. at the Family Dollar Store at 417 N. University Ave.
Residents are asked to lock their doors, turn on their outside lights and spend the evening with your neighbors and police.
