Local man wins $210,000 lottery jackpot

Lionel Crooks of Pine Bluff was announced as a $210,000 winner of the Natural State Jackpot in a press release issued by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Thursday.

The release said that Crooks purchased the winning $1 ticket at the Valero on E. Harding Avenue in Pine Bluff.

Attempts to reach Crooks for comment were unsuccessful as his listed telephone number has been disconnected.

Also Thursday, the lottery announced that Karla Via of Altheimer won $7,000 on a $5 ticket purchased at Paul’s Discount Tobacco in Pine Bluff.
