Investigation into double stabbing at Sheridan continues

Sheridan Police are continuing their investigation into the stabbing of two men Monday night at an apartment in Sheridan.

Police Chief Bob Adams said both men were taken to Little Rock hospitals by air ambulance and investigators have not been able to talk to them yet and did not know when that would occur.

The two reportedly broke into an apartment at 100 N. Red St. at about 6:30 p.m., one armed with a hammer and the second with a pocket knife, and fought with a male resident of the apartment who was also armed with a knife.

Adams said the no arrests have been made in the incident, and the names of the individuals involved were not released pending further investigation.
