Jefferson County Judge Mike Holcomb was honored Tuesday for his service to the county as a sheriff’s deputy, member of the quorum court and as county judge.
Friends and constituents said goodbye to Holcomb, who will leave the office and become a state representative for House District 10. He will assume his new position in January.
The event was held in the rotunda of the county courthouse.
