Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1404 S. Georgia St., will hold its annual Mission Day at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Berthena Walker of First Baptist Church Main Street in North Little Rock.

New Town Missionary Baptist Church, 3600 W. Second Ave., will hold its annual Usher’s Program at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. George Waters Jr., pastor of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer will hold its 125th Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Willie J. Laws, pastor of the New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Cornerstone.

Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 900 Grant St., will hold its 27th annual Inspirational Choir Day celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Brian Dotson, pastor of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer. Musical guests will be the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church Choir.

Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 6300 U.S. 79 South, will celebrate its first annual Family and Friends Day at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Aaron Barnes, pastor of New Home Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas will celebrate their 24th Anniversary/Homecoming Day at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jerry Hayes, pastor of Old Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Bois D’ Arc, will hold its 47th Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. William Avon Neal of Bright Star Missionary Baptist Church.

Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 E. Seventh Ave., will celebrate its 25th Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Norvell Gooley, pastor of New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas.

New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1317 Texas St., will celebrate the third anniversary of its pastor and wife, Rev. Frank Harris Jr. and Sierra Harris beginning with an appreciation for the first lady at 7 p.m. Friday. On Aug. 4 at 11 a.m., the guest speaker will be Rev. Dwight Townsend, pastor of Longley Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, and at 3 p.m., Rev. Phillip L. Pointer Sr., pastor of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, will be the guest speaker.

Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow will hold its annual Family and Friends Day Program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be Rev. J.W. Bush of New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Tarry.

Kings Highway Missionary Baptist Church, 2312 Fluker Ave., will hold its Inspirational Adult Choir Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Terry M. Frazier of Greater Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Conway.

Concerts

First Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer will celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Goodwill Singing Union starting at 7 p.m. Saturday with words of encouragement by Rev. Willie Rogers Jr., pastor of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Sherrill. Guests include First Missionary Baptist Choir, Battle Chapel Choir, Jerusalem and Corinth Choir. At 7 p.m. Sunday, the sermon will be presented by Rev. Leroy Spears Jr., pastor of Union Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. Guests will include Union Baptist Choir, Junioretts and more.

Monthly Worship Service of the Pastoria Singing Union will be at the Morris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Sherrill at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4807 W. Sixth Ave., will host the fourth anniversary honoring Voices of Deliverance at 7 p.m. Saturday. Musical guests include Galilee Choir, Pure in Hearts, Witnezz, NU-EMAG3, Freedom and more.

Men’s/Women’s Day

New Community Missionary Baptist Church, 321 N. Birch St., will hold its annual Women’s Day Sunday. The first lady and missionary, Janice Lockett, will be the 11 a.m. speaker. The guest speaker at 5 p.m.will be Sharon R. Nesbitt of Dominion World Outreach Ministries in Marion.

Bethel New Bethel Baptist Church, 2522 N. Pryce St., will hold its annual Women’s Day Sunday. At 11 a.m., the featured speaker will be Karyette Simmons of Bethel New Bethel. At 3 p.m., Jackie Flowers of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church will be the guest speaker.

The Lake Village District Women’s Department will present the District Women’s Day at There is Hope Church of God in Christ, 1003 E. Second Ave., at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Lendora Early, state supervisor of women of Arkansas 3rd Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. Also participating will be Amanda Glass, district missionary.

Revivals

New Community Missionary Baptist Church, 321 N. Birch St., will hold its Cross Town Revival starting with Intercessory Prayer at 6 p.m. and services at 7 p.m. with the following speakers on these dates — Tuesday, Rev. John Farris, pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Faith; Wednesday, Rev. Anthony Walker, pastor of Mulberry Grove Baptist Church; and Thursday, Rev. Accie L. Reynolds Jr., of First Baptist Church in Ladd.

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer will hold its summer Revival at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The guest evangelist will be Rev. Donald Manning, pastor of Thomas Chapel Baptist Church in Gould.

Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan will hold its revival at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The guest speaker will be Clyde Jones, evangelist.

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Altheimer will hold its summer revival at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The guest minister will be Rev. Donald Manning of Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Gould.

Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow will hold its revival at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. The guest evangelist will be Rev. Ervin Batemon of Kindling Star Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow.

Auburn Missionary Baptist Church in Gould will hold its revival at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Walter Witherspoon Sr., evangelist.

Special Event

Evangelistic Outreach Church, 620 L.A. Prexy Davis Drive, will hold its 2013 Celebrate Jesus Conference at 7 p.m. on the following dates with these speakers: Sunday, Emma L. True Vine “E” Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 W. Second Ave., will be honoring Rev. Richard P. Bifford Sr., a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Arkansas Baptist College, and the Northern Baptist Seminary in Illinois. The service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and the guest speaker will be Rev. Allen Washington.

New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1317 S. Texas St., will honor its 2013 graduates at 11 a.m. Sunday. Words of encouragement will be offered by Michelle Crater-Grice of Greater Fellowship Ministries.

Vacation Bible School

Spiritual Temple Church of God in Christ, 1001 S. Linden St., will hold its Vacation Bible School at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Youth

First Baptist Church-Dew Drop, 1701 N. Bryant St., will hold a Youth Day Praise and Dance Extravaganza at 3 p.m. Sunday. The worship leader will be Raelyn Watson.

Evangelistic Outreach Church, 620 L.A. Prexy Davis Drive, will hold its Back-to-School Extravaganza at 4 p.m. Saturday. The event will include food and activities.
