New Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 3800 Fir St., will hold its sixth annual church anniversary service Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Timothy L. Pratt Sr., pastor of Wheeler Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker.

First Baptist Church of Altheimer will host the sixth anniversary of its pastor Rev. Daryl and Yvette Graydon at God’s Way Fellowship, 1600 Commerce Road. The first lady’s night will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday featuring guest speaker Stephanie Batemon. Sunday at 3 p.m., Rev. Aaron Barnes, pastor of New Home Baptist Church, will be the speaker.

International House of Praise, 1002 E. Eighth Ave., will celebrate the ninth anniversary of Rev. Willie and Carla Edwards. Aundra Johnson, bishop of Faith In Action Ministries, will be the guest speaker at 7 p.m. Saturday. At 3 p.m. Sunday, the guest speaker will be Woodrow Parker, apostle of Second Chance Ministries of Fordyce.

Mt. Olive AME Church of Tarry will celebrate its 151st church anniversary Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. William Shaw Sr., pastor of Pleasant View Ministries, will be the guest speaker.

Solomon Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 8011 S. Olive St., will celebrate its 147th anniversary Sunday. Rev. Daryl Sanders, associate pastor of Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Little Rock, will be the 11 a.m. guest speaker. Rev. Lewis E. Williams, pastor of St. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, will be the 3 p.m. speaker.

St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church at Altheimer will observe the eighth anniversary of its pastor and wife, Rev. and Mrs. Richard Hart, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. George Waters Jr., pastor of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker.

There Is Hope Church of God In Christ, 1003 E. Second Ave., will celebrate the 16th appreciation service of Rev. Earl and Amanda Glass, Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Timothy Jones, pastor of Bethlehem Worship Center of Dumas, will be the guest speaker.

Happy Home Missionary Baptist Church at Jefferson will hold its annual usher’s day Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Johnny Smith of Shiloh Baptist Church will be the speaker.

Ezekiel Missionary Baptist Church, 121 W. Martin St., will hold its first annual missionary service, Sunday at 3 p.m. Dorothy Jackson of Prayer Garden Church of God In Christ will be the guest speaker.

Concerts/Musicals

Shannon Road Baptist Church, 6817 Shannon Road, will hold a musical concert, featuring the Kinsmen Quartet and Holcomb Family singers Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

The fourth anniversary of Rev. Sammie Smith Jr. and Nu-Begin-N will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, 500 Bois D’Arc St., with guests including the Spiritual Stars from Holly Springs. Sunday at 6 p.m., the concert will be held at Mount Caramel Baptist Church, 900 S. Grant, with guests including the Williams Family, Spiritualettes, Nu-Emag-3, Faith of Harmony, Voices of Harmony, the Sensational Soul Revivals, Men In Christ and The Celestial Wonders from Little Rock.

The annual concert of Renewed Generation will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 2507 W. Hill Ave., Guests include recoding artists Sheree Evans and Myrtis Jackson.

The Community Choir of Rison will hold its annual tea celebration Saturday at the Rison Fairgrounds at 7 p.m. Guest groups include Men In Black, Wings of Joy, Jericho Choir, Freedom Group and the Mt. Zion Youth.

St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church of Sherrill will hold a Pastoria Singing Union monthly worship services Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

St. Peter’s Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 1201 Catalpa St., will hold a choir unity concert Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Men’s/Women’s Day

Old St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 1307 W. 16th Ave., will hold its annual men’s day celebration at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Rev. Michael Williams, pastor of Family Time Church, will be the guest speaker.

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Cornerstone will hold its annual men’s and women’s day Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Toney Jackson of Zion Hill in Kerr will be the guest speaker.

Mt. Pleasant AME Church, 1201 N. Magnolia St., will celebrate women’s day starting with brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday with Cortez Henderson of St. James United Methodist Church as the guest speaker. Sunday at 3 p.m., Roslyn Perkins of Disciple of Love Church Ministry in Little Rock will be the guest speaker.

East End Church of God In Christ, 709 Virginia St., will observe its annual men and women’s day, Sunday at 3 p.m. Doris Hadley, first lady of Christ Temple Church Of God In Christ, will be the guest speaker.

Revivals

Faith In Action Ministries Church, 316 S. Poplar St., will hold its revival Wednesday through Sunday at 7 p.m. Alfred Henton, an apostle, will be the speaker.

St. Peter’s Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 1201 Catalpa St., will hold its revival Sunday through Tuesday at 7 p.m. Rev. Bertrain Bailey, pastor of St. John Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, will be the guest speaker.

Greater Deliverance Global Ministry Inc., in the Jefferson Room of Ramada Plaza Hotel, #2 Convention Center Drive, will hold its spring revival at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. Rev. Larry Smith of Shiloh Temple Deliverance Church will be the guest speaker.

First Baptist Church, 6501 S. Hazel St., will hold revival featuring Sam Moore of Bentonville as the guest evangelist. Moore has held revivals in India, Haiti, Brazil, Nicaragua and Guatemala. Sunday services will be held at 10:50 a.m. and 6 p.m. and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Men In Black, along with Patricia Barnes and Royal Haynes with the Sold Out For Jesus Ministries, will spearhead a fundraising program for 4-month-old hospice child Antonyiah Miracle Vance Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 600 E. 38th Ave. Guests groups include Sweet Melody and The Spiritual Anointed.

Prairie Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 2611 Indiana St., will hold Family and Friends Day, Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Acie Reynolds, pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Ladd, will be the guest speaker.

Bethel-Ladd AME Church, 5226 E. Pointer Road, will host a reunion celebration Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Cheryle Highsmith, pastor of Greater St. Mark AME Church in Thorton, will be the guest speaker.

Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church at Faith will hold its pre-conference women’s retreat Friday at 6 p.m. with Rev. Nadine Rhodes discussing stress, relaxation and deep breathing and Michaela Washington discussing deep meditation. Saturday at 9:30 a.m., the conference retreat will be held including brunch followed by two sessions.
