Simmons First National Corp. recently announced the promotions of Meredith R. Hicks and Hayley E. Wreyford to officers of the company, according to CEO and Chairman J. Thomas May.
Hicks joined Simmons First in 2009 as a financial services representative and currently holds the position of compliance auditor. Prior to joining Simmons First, she had worked in financial services and retail management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Mid-South Regulatory Compliance Group Steering Committee and American Bankers Association Open Compliance Committee & Institute of Internal Auditors, currently serves as president of the Pine Bluff Optimist Club and volunteers with March of Dimes and the Pine Bluff School District Volunteers in Public Education.
Wreyford joined Simmons First in 2011 as a financial services representative and recently became the regional sales and quality customer service manager for the southeast region of Simmons First National Bank. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University with a major in business marketing and a minor in mass communications.
