W.T. Cheney students raise funds for Angel Tree

The W.T. Cheney Student Council raised funds to adopt six angels from the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree recently. Each angel received coats, clothing, toys and all requested items, according to a spokesman.

Student Council members include Caleb Hawkins, Blair Price, Jaylen Murray, Chandler Laurent, Jamari Tyler, Tyrian Turner, Aidan Filhiol, Janeica Perry, Terron Jenkins, Damien Murray, Jaimi Ingram, Kaylah Beatty, Jaden Rucker, Griffin Hayes, Christian Cole, Elicia Handley, Heaven White, Kimaryn West, Dorilyn Garner, Damonte’Johnson-president, Semyia Hampton-vice president and Charlston Colen-secretary-treasurer.
