The White Hall Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the annual Easter egg hunt to 10 a.m. Saturday at City Park.

More than 8,000 plastic eggs that will be hidden in park for the egg hunt including 150 prize eggs, ranging from certificates for money to bicycles, said Kay Lynn Johnston, project chairman.

Five age groups — walking toddlers up to age 2; 3- and 4-year-olds; 5- and 6-year-olds; 7- and 8-year-olds; and 9- and 10-year-olds – can search for eggs in different assigned areas of the park.

Ten bicycles will be awarded to successful hunters, Johnston said, adding that other prize eggs from local businesses will include money. The remaining eggs will include candy and toys.

She encouraged parents and children to arrive before 10 Saturday, noting that the scramble for the eggs is over quickly.
