An enclosed tent with heater will be provided for military veterans and their families at the Veterans Day service at 2 p.m. Monday at the White Hall Museum’s Veterans Monument, 9009 Dollarway Road, said Mary Lou Mauldin, museum director.
The tent was obtained after a National Weather Service forecast for Monday indicated the possibility of showers and highs in the mid-50s, said Mauldin.
The motorcycle groups Fallen Riders, ABATE and Genesis will conduct a ride-in salute to the veterans and the ceremony will conclude will a fly-over salute by the Razorback Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association at Grider Field.
Guests will be invited to tour the museum and grounds at the conclusion of the ceremony, Mauldin said. Parking will be provided near the museum.
