UAPB, Missouri State sign agreement to improve diversity education

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Missouri State University recently signed an agreement to examine ways to provide meaningful opportunities for underrepresented populations, as well as increase education on and exposure to diversity and inclusion matters for faculty, staff and students.

Opportunities to be explored include faculty co-teaching and faculty exchange arrangements; cooperative internship, practicum, and student teaching arrangements; and articulation agreements, alternative modality course offerings and joint programs to enhance undergraduate- and graduate-level educational opportunities for students in the Ozarks and Arkansas Delta regions intending to pursue or advance a career in education.
