Tennessee student receives UAPB scholarship

Adjua K. Hardy of Arlington, Tenn., was recently awarded a Chancellor’s Full-Ride Scholarship from the Office of Recruitment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Hardy is the 2013 valedictorian of Fayette-Ware Comprehensive High School in Somerville, Tenn., where she will graduate in May.

The daughter of Robert and Sharonda Hardy, she is also Miss Fayette-Ware High School, a member of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and the Beta Club. She serves as treasurer of the National Honor Society and president of Ladies of Intelligence Organization. She plans to major in education at UAPB and become an elementary school teacher.
