SEARK program to celebrate MLK

Southeast Arkansas College will celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a program beginning at 12:15 p.m. Thursday in the Founders Hall-Lyceum.

Guest speakers will be Rev. Patrick Lockett of New Community Church and John Bynum. Bynum will present the reading of Rev. King.’s speech, “I Have a Dream.”

Rev. Michael Williams, pastor of Family Time Church, will sing the National Black Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

The campus will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
