Pine Bluff student awarded UAPB scholarship


Lauren Hardiman of Pine Bluff was recently awarded a University Scholarship from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Office of Recruitment.

Hardiman is the daughter of Felicia Dotson and William Hardiman and is graduating from Watson Chapel High School. Her main high school activities include Beta Club, Science Club, National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. She currently maintains a 3.7 grade point average.

Hardiman will major in biology at UAPB with plans of attending UAMS after graduation and becoming a neonatologist.

To be eligible for the University Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The University Scholarship pays full tuition and room and board.
