PBHS/UAPB grad receives white coat


Richard Steward, a 2000 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, recently received his white coat during the white coat ceremony of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, New York.

The “cloaking” ceremony marks the student’s transition from the study of preclinical to clinical health sciences.

Steward is the son of Wanda Steward of Pine Bluff and the late Richard Steward Jr.
