Students at Jack Roby, Southeast and Belair middle schools and senior students in the Junior ROTC Program at Watson Chapel High School recently signed the Pen or Pencil “Freedom of Choice Agreement.”

Students made a commitment and agreed to graduate, refrain from any act that would violate the rights of others, resist joining a gang and to set personal and collective goals while participating in the Pen or Pencil: Writing a New History Program.

Students from Southeast and Watson Chapel also signed thank you cards to be sent to U.S. soldiers deployed across the world. Details on the Pen or Pencil program: 536-7274.
