UAPB is home and has a family environment and it’s a place where I know people want me to succeed,” Newby said. “My family can’t afford college and the Academic Scholarship will make it a lot easier financially to help me further my education.”

To be eligible for the Academic Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 21 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Academic Scholarship pays full tuition. Details: 575-8961 or www.uapb.edu.
