Jack Robey students honored at awards assembly


Jack Robey Junior High School hosted its third nine weeks honors and awards assembly on Friday, April 26, in the school gymnasium.

The keynote speaker was Rudolph Howard, Pine Bluff School District deputy superintendent. Students receiving awards were given certificates and allowed to dress up for the day. The students were also treated to refreshments provided by the PTO. Parents attended the event in record numbers to show support for the students.

The following students received recognition for their high achievements:

• All A’s eighth grade — Taylor Burnett, Dawson Hamilton and Alexi Mack;
