The Cleveland County Fair Association is hosting a Holiday Fair from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the fairgrounds in Rison.
Admission is a cash donation or toy for the Court Appointed Special Advocates program. Beef stew and beans with cornbread will be served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost for the meal is $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Proceeds from the meal will go to the annual high school senior scholarship fund.
Shopping will available for items like candles; jars of jams, jellies, preserves and pickled items; body scrubs and other bath items; fried pies; caramel and other flavored popcorn; dry food mixes; children’s clothing; purses; household items; blankets; jewelery; and more.
Santa will be at the fair from 4-6 p.m.
Live Christmas music will be performed in the afternoon by the Rison High School Band, Kingsland Elementary Bell Ringers, Bethel No. 1 Baptist Church Bethelites and Frankie Harper.
