Greenville Elementary students recently celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

One-hundred-and-one students from Greenville read 20 or more books. The students were treated to pizza and birthday cake. Students also received reading medals for their success.

Each student was encouraged to bring a guest. Several parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles shared in the celebration.

Students are preparing for the next celebration. The deadline for reading 20 books is Friday, April 12.
