Go Pink Day to feature form state legislator

Pine Bluff School District will host the second annual Go Pink for the Cure Day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the district office, 512 S. Pine St.

The keynote speaker will be former state Rep. Josetta Wilkins, whose efforts led to the Breast Cancer Act of 1997.

Wilkins helped create the BreastCare program, a division of the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services, which provides women without health insurance free breast screening and treatment. A catfish lunch will be served and the cost is $10. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
