Pine Bluff’s annual festival and cook-off will be held at Saracen Landing Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Cook teams can compete in the gumbo competition, catfish cook-off, or both.
A Kids’ Zone will offer activities including inflatable features, arts and crafts, National Guard football/basketball toss, games, balloons, Arkansas Game & Fish aquarium and the Pine Bluff Fire Department Smoke House.
Live entertainment will feature Ear Candy; Legoria Payton & Friends; Brian Austin Blues Band; University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Jazz Ensemble; and the Saints of Yesterday.
The Gumbo and Catfish samples for sale and live entertainment begin at noon and the judging will start at 4 p.m.; and the awards assembly will start at 5 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults, includes one book of ‘Bayou Bucks,’ good for drinks and taste samples.
Children 12 and under are admitted free.
