Election commission to meet Wednesday

The Jefferson County Election Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the election center, 123 S. Main St.

The agenda includes holding a public meeting for provisional ballots that were not accepted by the commission. If there are no changes in the returns, the commission will certify the general election results.
