Dumas Junior High EAST team rates Superior at conference

The Dumas Junior High School EAST Conference Team received the Superior School Award, the highest honor possible, at the EAST Conference held from Feb. 27 to March 1 in Hot Springs.

The conference included EAST teams from around the nation who exhibited projects and programs from their schools. prepared booths and exhibited the projects and programs that have been going on at their school. While at the conference, students attended classes that allowed them to receive professional help with programs or software in a hands-on environment.

Dumas Junior High EAST members are TyCamron Mack, Lamar Hollinshed, Grayson Chambers, Hunter Selvey, Jakee Smith, Autumn Clemons, Madison Moncrief, Zahria Gibson, Velma Burns (EAST facilitator) and Martin Fitzpatrick (chaperone).
