The Pine Bluff Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Commission will host an Action Forum/Resource Fair from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The event will be held in conjunction with the commission’s annual energy assistance program and as a part of its Economic Opportunity Day.
The resource fair will provide a venue for local organizations, business and individuals to showcase their services, products, etc. to forum attendees and an opportunity for agencies to teach community members about their many various community agencies throughout the county and how to access their services. The resource fair is open to attendees at no charge. The commission will also host the opening of LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program), a program that helps families with their energy costs..
After the Action Forum, breakout rooms will be available for agencies and community members to discuss services, partnerships and how to move any action items forward.
For questions or to request form to be a part of the Resource Fair, call the commission’s toll-free number at 1-800-277-1313 Ext. 121 or visit their website at pbjceoc.org.
