Church to host pumpkin patch in October

Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church is holding its third annual Pumpkin Patch on the church front lawn from Saturday, Oct. 6, through Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The church is at Interstate 530 and U.S. 79 in Pine Bluff.

Proceeds are going to the Pine Bluff Neighbor to Neighbor program and other local mission projects sponsored by the church youth. Several local civic and church groups are assisting in unloading day at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.

In addition to many sizes of pumpkins and gourds, there will be crafts, face and pumpkin painting, hay rides, photo opportunities, refreshments and lots of good old-fashioned family fun.

The Pumpkin Patch will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free except for large groups. There are limited group time slots available for school groups, day cares and others, who are welcomed by appointment.
