Bethany Chapel’s forum to focus on current events

Bethany Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1923 S. Olive St., will begin “Let’s Talk About It” public forums at 5 p.m. Saturday.

The round-table discussion will focus on current events on a local, state and national level.

“This week’s topic is Politics from the Pulpit, a non-partisan discussion of the issues and events of this election season and is designed to empower and equip voters to make intelligent choices at the polls,” a spokesman said.

The pastor, Rev. Renice Davis, will be the facilitator. The public is invited.
