The Baptist Health Foundation has named Bill Jones of Pine Bluff and four other new members to its board of trustees for 2013.
Jones is president of Sissy’s Log Cabin, which has locations in Pine Bluff, Little Rock and Jonesboro.
A Pine Bluff native, Jones has been in the family retail jewelry store business for 28 years and Sissy’s Log Cabin president for 14 years. The 49-year-old is also president and land developer for Wildwood Realty, Stone Ridge and Split River in Pine Bluff.
The other new members are Jamie Harrison, owner of Advertising Specialties and Promotions in Roland; Dr. David Jones of Arkansas Cardiology in Little Rock; Dr. David Reding of Neurosurgery Arkansas in Little Rock; and Betty Richards, president and CEO of Rich Logistics in Little Rock.
The Baptist Health Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of the health care system, has 35 elected board trustees. They serve as ambassadors for Baptist Health, as well as advisers and fundraisers for the foundation.
Each is asked to serve a three-year term with an opportunity to renew for a second three-year term.
