Accountant attends state Fraud Conference


Kristine M. Barbaree of Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System in Pine Bluff recently attended the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants sixth annual Fraud Conference, Nov. 26-27 at the ASCPA Conference Center in Little Rock.

Barbaree is a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

The two-day event sponsored by the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants offered the 60 participants the opportunity to earn 16 hours of Continuing Professional Education credit through lectures from leading anti-fraud experts, which presented attendees with tools and techniques to identify, measure and reduce the risk of material fraud.

The ASCPA is the State’s largest professional organization.
