Box 6469, Pine Bluff, Ark., 71611. Since all activities are subject to change, it would be wise to confirm the activity with the sponsoring organization.
21 — Gamma Psi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., and Epsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., will celebrate Founders Day beginning at 6 p.m. at Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 W. Pullen St.
21 — The Pine Bluff Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., will present “Jabberwock 2012,” a talent and variety show, at 7 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Convention Center Auditorium. Pamela Smith, KATV’s Channel 7 Weekend anchor and co-host of KATV’s “Good Morning Arkansas,” joins the Jabberwock 2012 event serving as emcee. Admission for the event is $10 for tickets in advance and $12 on the evening of the event. Tickets may be purchased at Fathers and Sons Clothiers, Thomas Groceries and Gifts, Novel ’T’s, Flowers Pediatric Clinic, Sheilah’s Design, or from any member of the Pine Bluff Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
21 — The Pine Bluff High School Multi-year Class Reunion committee will hold a planning meeting at 6 p.m. at Harbor Oaks Golf Course & Restaurant. At least one representative from each class of 1973 to 1980 is urged to attend.
24 — Parents of Murdered Children (POMC), in partnership with Healing Place Ministries, will hold its monthly support group meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Delta Resource Center, 3131 W. 28th Ave. The meeting is open to anyone who has lost a loved one to violent crime. 26 — “Beginning Photography” with Eric Maynard will return to the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. In this five-week class, students will learn the basics of the art, from the features and functions of a camera and how best to use them to the beginnings of artful composition.
28 — The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., will hold auditions for its spring play “Stuart Little” from 1-3 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Monologues are appreciated, but not required. Timothy Rhoades is the director and David Fleming is the assistant director. 28 — The community is invited to meet Sherry Laymon, author of “John McClellan, U.S. Senator, Fearless”, at the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum, 201 E. Fourth Ave., at 2 p.m.
18 — The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will mark the 25th anniversary of the Chancellor’s Benefit for the Arts beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
