This is a listing of activities of interest to residents of Southeast Arkansas. Anyone who would like to submit entries for consideration may do so in writing to the Entertainment Calendar, P.O. 24-26 — Pilots from across America will fly into Pine Bluff’s Grider Field for Operation Skyhook. The event will include flying competitions, military displays, youth aviation challenge, free aircraft rides for the kids and much more. For more information, visit www.bpapilots.org.
28 — The Southeast Arkansas Concert Series Association of Monticello will present Christian Feazell in a dinner theater performance at 7 p.m. at the Gibson Center at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Feazell is well known in Pine Bluff for his performances in “Chicago” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Tickets for the evening of dinner and show are $30 and reservations may be made by calling 870-723-0469. An auction will conclude the evening.
1 — The Bastille Mentalist will be performing at the Pine Bluff Dinner Theater held at the Pine Bluff Country Club. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and the show at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $45. Details: Call 535-2646 or visit the website www.pbdtheatre.com.
1 — The Farmers Market Festival will be held from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Saracen Landing. There will be live entertainment, cooking demos, samples, children’s fun and fresh produce sold by local farmers. 1-13 — The American Red Cross will hold the following blood drives — 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 1, First United Methodist Church, Sheridan; 1-5 p.m. June 3, the American Red Cross Blood Services offices, 1610 W. 42nd Ave., Pine Bluff; noon-4 p.m. June 7, Baptist Health Medical Center, Stuttgart; noon-5 p.m. June 13, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, 1600 W. 40th Ave., Pine Bluff. 10-July 19 — The Pine Bluff Police Department will hold its annual Police and Youth Day Camp June 10 through July 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for children 6 to 16 years old. Space is limited. The fee is $50. Details: Call 730-2077 or 730-2076.
10 — The Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County, 2701 Short Reeker St., will hold its summer program June 10 through Aug. 2. The club hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
