1 — Charlotte Taylor & Gypsy Rain will be featured during the monthly Live@5 music series from 5-7 p.m. at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St. The cost of the evening is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. 2 — The Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra will present “Classics in The Popular Vein” at 7 p.m. in the Pine Bluff Convention Center Auditorium, 1 Convention Center Plaza. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Preferred adult tickets are $30 and students (K-12) are $12. General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $8 for students (K-12). 5 — The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum, 201 E. Fourth Ave., will kick off Archaeology Month at 7 p.m. Rodney Parker, district archaeologist from Little Rock, will highlight the many contributions made by African Americans within the field of archeology. 9 — Rio Clemente, known as The Bishop of Jazz, will be appearing at the Pine Bluff Country Club, 1100 Country Club Lane, at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by Old Town Theatres Centre as part of its dinner theatre series, Clemente will play on a 7-foot, Steinway grand piano brought in special for this occasion.
