21 — The Pine Bluff Presidential Inaugural Gala Committee will present an Inaugural Gala in honor of President Barack Obama at 7 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Convention Center Ballroom. The special guest will be Dr. Jocelyn Elders, former U.S. surgeon general. Live entertainment will be provided by Legoria Payton & Friends. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. 9 — Arkansas’ first lady, Ginger Beebe, will be on-hand to celebrate the silver anniversary of the Home and Garden Seminar & Show at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. This year’s show will focus on raised-bed gardening, one of the largest growing segments in home gardens.
