16 — The Jefferson County Extension Homemakers will sponsor a workshop, “Little Dresses for Africa” from 9 a.m. to noon in the conference room at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, 500 S. 17 — Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church, 3703 Ryburn Road, will host its annual Holiday Craft Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A soup lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Items available will include handmade crafts, decorations, baked goods, candies, jellies, frozen casseroles, Christmas cards and more. 17 — Trinity Village Medical Center, 6400 Trinity Drive, will host its second annual bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
17 — Newbirth Baptist Church, 401 E. Fifth Ave., will serve free Thanksgiving dinners for those in need Saturday during its “Ministry Makes A Difference Day.” The church’s goal is to feed 100 people from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and another 100 people from 2-4 p.m. For more information, call 870-329-5326.
17 — The Presbyterian Women of Central Presbyterian Church, 6300 Trinity Drive, will host their annual fall bake sale at 9 a.m. Items that will be available for purchase include baked goods, casseroles, puzzles and books. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Presbyterian Women mission projects throughout the year.
17 — The First Presbyterian Church Day School, 717 W. 32nd Ave., will host its “Christmas Blessings” Fair and Silent Auction fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon. The silent auction will end at 11 a.m. and participants do not have to be present to win. New to the event this year will be Bull’s Den backyard grilling food truck. 17 — The Pine Bluff Chapter of The Links Inc., will sponsor its annual Walk-a-Thon, Make Health a Habit, at Saracen Landing. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the walk will begin at 8 a.m. There is a registration fee of $5 for adults. Students and senior citizens 65 years and older are invited to participate at no cost.
17 — “A Taste of Trinity,” the annual fall tradition of Trinity Episcopal Church, will be presented by the Episcopal Church Women at the church at 703 W. Third Ave. Doors will open at 10 a.m. for the bake shop, casseroles and treasures. Admission is free of charge. A luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Luncheon tickets are $8 each and are available by calling 870-534-3832 or at the door on the day of the event.
19 — The Jefferson County Extension Homemakers will sponsor a “Chenille Snowman” workshop from 9 a.m. to noon in the conference room at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, 500 S. Idaho St. Pre-registration is required. A complete list of supplies needed for this workshop will be available at the Extension office on Nov. 12. 20 — This year’s “Enchanted Land of Lights & Legends” will open and remain open until New Year’s Eve. The drive-through holiday light display will be open from 6-9 p.m. each day in the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park. 30 — Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., will host Potpourri, its bi-annual fundraiser, on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The event on Nov. 30 will be held from 7-10 p.m., and will feature the band, Big Phil and Chill, heavy hors d’oeuvres, margaritas, a wine and beer pull and a preview of the artwork, parties, jewelry and other items that will be available at the silent and live auctions on Dec. 1. The black-tie optional event on Dec. 1 will be held from 6-10 p.m., and will open with a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by dinner and the live auction. Tickets are $60 per person for Nov. 30 and $100 per person for Dec. 1. Tickets for both nights can be purchased at $150 per person. Seating is limited. 7 — Tickets for the annual Christmas Luncheon and Festival of Tables, sponsored by the Pine Bluff Salvation Army Auxiliary, are on sale. The event is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Great Hall of First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Sixth Ave. All tickets are $15 each, with carry-outs available.
