Sarah Barnes and Adam Garner exchange wedding vows


Sarah Ann Barnes, the daughter of Nancy and Keith Weaver and Scott Barnes, and Adam Gregory Garner, the son of Sharon and Greg Garner, were married on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

The ceremony was held at Watson Chapel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Ark. Rev. M.L. Faler officiated.

Organ was played by Grant Meacham, and soloist Tim Taylor played acoustic guitar.

Alex Garner, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen included Bryan Castleberry, Spencer Bennett, Andy Rittenhouse, Kenneth Sage, Matthew Devers, and Robert Washburn, all fraternity brothers of the groom. Ushers included Blake Barnes, brother of the bride, Clint Burrow and Clint Nelson. The men wore light grey suits with navy ties and boutonnieres of white roses.

Rachel Barnes, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Kelly Self, Kathaleene Meacham, Anna Paige Frein, Shelby Brazeal, Lauren Engelkes, and Jordan Sorey. They wore navy knee-length dresses and carried a pale yellow hydrangea.

Flower girls were Londyn Burrough and Campbell Freeman. The ring bearer was Pierce Freeman.

The bride was escorted by her stepfather and wore a Blu by Mori Lee strapless gown with an embellished sweetheart neckline and full organza ruffle ball gown skirt. She carried a mixture of white and pale yellow hydrangeas. The stem was wrapped in a lace sleeve from her mother’s wedding dress.

Jodie Jolly served as the wedding coordinator.

The groom’s parents honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner held at the Pine Bluff Country Club.

Following the reception, held at the Coretta Scott King Center, the couple honeymooned in Cozumel, Mexico. The couple will reside in Jonesboro, Ark.
