Rachel Anderson and Robert Siever exchange wedding vows

Wedding vows were exchanged by Rachel Kate Anderson and Robert Scott Siever at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at All Souls Church in Scott. The Rev. Gerry Claybrook officiated.

Kaye and Neal Anderson of Lonoke are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Kathryn Marvine and Marlin Hawkins of Morrilton and the late Letitia and Faye Anderson of Lonoke.

The groom is the son of Cathey and Bo Siever of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are the late Mary Elizabeth and Forney Durham of De Queen and the late Kathryn and Ralph Robert Siever of Arkansas City.

The altar was banked with candles, tall candle stands, and an assortment of ivory and cream roses and cascading white dendrobium orchids. Nuptial music was by organist Greg Taylor; soloist Jamie Anderson, brother of the bride; and violinist John Jarboe.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Vera Wang gown of silk charmeuse with an overlay of ivory English net embellished with an ivory silk satin sash at the natural waist. Her short ivory veil was trimmed with satin ribbon. Her bouquet held David Austin roses in shades of ivory, cream and taupe.

A reception at the Country Club of Little Rock followed the ceremony. The center buffet table featured a towering white dendrobium orchid tree with hanging votive candles. Strands of orchids, along with gilt and crystal chandeliers, were suspended above the dance floor in the Garden Room. Guest tables featured a mix of tall and low vases holding dendrobium orchids, French tulips, hydrangeas and roses. Music was by the Kevin and Bethany Paige Band of Memphis.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She received her juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law. She is an attorney and is vice president of I.F. Anderson Farms Inc. She was employed with InVeritas Research and Consulting in Little Rock as a registered lobbyist prior to the wedding.

The groom graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in marketing management. He is a national account manager with Simmons Foods Inc. in Siloam Springs.

After a honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, the couple will reside in Rogers.
