Crossett, Miller exchange vows

Miss Elizabeth Nicole Crossett and Mr. Joshua Scott Miller were united in marriage on Saturday, May 04, 2013, at two thirty in the afternoon at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Ark. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s uncle, Jeff Bruns of Waynesville, Mo.

Along with instrumental music, the bride’s great uncle, Glen Crossett, of Arlington, Texas, performed a song especially for the couple entitled “Forever and a Day.”

The bride is the daughter of the late Harry Crossett and Talana Crossett Kelterborn of Pine Bluff, Ark. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Davis of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Crossett of Sulphur Springs, Ark.

The groom is the son of Scott and Annette Miller of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Pamela Miller of Rison, Ark. He is the grandson of the late Melvin Miller and Mattie Miller of Rison, Ark., the late Vester Brown and the late Mary Elizabeth Brown, Eugene West and the late Marilyn West of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Archie Arnold of Pine Bluff, Ark.

Given in marriage by her maternal grandfather, Bobby Davis, the bride wore an ivory taffeta scoop neck gown that featured a dropped waist, ruched bodice, and tiered skirt. A hand-beaded fingertip veil complemented the classic silhouette’s sweeping train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of antique ivory roses, accented with crystal brooches, both old and new.

Mrs. Amy Moore, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor and Miss Sarah Crossett, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Both attendants wore tiered lace cocktail dresses in gunmetal grey and carried hand-tied bouquets of pale pink roses.

Mr. Justin Miller, brother of the groom, served as best man and Mr. Jared Johnson, friend of the groom, served as groomsman. Ushers were Hunter Davis and Marc Foote. The ring bearers were Mr. Aiden Davis and Mr. Riley Davis.

The bride is a graduate of White Hall High School in Pine Bluff, Ark., and is currently continuing her education to earn a degree in business. She is employed as a teller at FBT Bank & Mortgage. The groom is a graduate of Rison High School and is currently continuing his education to earn a degree in electrical technology. He is employed as a set-up tech at Kohler Plastics.

Following a honeymoon is Gulf Shores, Ala., the couple will be at home in Rison, Ark.
