The drama and choir departments of Watson Chapel High School presented “The Nifty Fifties” by Tim Kelly and Bill Francoeur at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the high school auditorium.
“The Nifty Fifties” was an exciting trip back to the fun filled 1950’s. The show was directed by Sandy Owen, drama instructor, and Angel Owen choir director. Choreography was by Tana Cook and the costumes were made by Pam Bennett.
The cast included Devonte Russell, Karena Everett, Shequeena Alexander, Shawnnon Scott, Asia Abraham, Alexis James, Daphne Dunn, Jamaal Courtney, Chanel Allen, DeShai Higgins, Ruby Phillips, Shundria Martin, Hunter Lunsford, Maleek Ware, Monkevis Edwards, Deidre Mays, Khadijah Fuller, Rhett Hunt, Evan Murry, Daizha Lee, River Sanders, Cristina Shirley, Shelby Cuthbertson, Ty’Teion Duncan, Alexis James, Megan McClain, Brianna Foote and Jeanie Veazey.
