UAPB/AM&N Alumni Association provides cheer packages, awards scholarship

The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Alumni Chapter UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association Inc., kicked off the fiscal year by providing cheer packages to incoming freshmen, beginning with Harrold Complex on the campus of UAPB.

This is an ongoing initiative set forth by the chapter. All dormitories on the campus will be included.

One main objective of the alumni chapter is to provide scholarships and other needs for students who are experiencing hardship. The chapter is very proud to present this year’s scholarship recipient, Diondre Briggs, son of Tenisha Breedlove of Pine Bluff. He is a graduate of Pine Bluff High School. Briggs is currently a freshman at UAPB, majoring in music education.
