Three independent films to premiere at The Pines on June 30

Rine and Chandlar Productions, along with Dark Image Films, will present three independent films at The Pines Mall Cinema on June 30.

The films, “Chipped”, “Oak’s Past”, and “Farewell” will be shown as a triple feature at 3, 5 and 7 p.m. All three films feature local actors and actresses.

Tickets are available at Headz Up Barber Shop, 1401 W. Sixth Ave., or online at Admission is $5 in advance and $ 7 at the door.

“Chipped” and “Oak’s Past” were written by Arinitra Chandler of Rine and Chandler Productions. “Farewell” was written By Donnie Patterson of Dark Image Films. Rine and Chandler Productions collaborated with Dark Image Films, owned by Patterson, to produce “Oak’s Past” and “Chipped”. Chandler also assisted with the film “Farewell”.

A mother of two, Arinitra Chandler, and her husband, Devlon Chandler Sr, are the owners of Rine and Chandler Productions. She is also a licensed hair stylist. She attended Excel Models and Talent and received a certificate in commercial acting, advanced acting and professional acting. She was also chosen to go to New York to represent Arkansas on an international level for acting. Her goals are to help actors and local artists meet their goals and dreams in the industry.

Patterson was born in Chicago but moved to his mother’s hometown, Pangburn. Dark Image Films was launched in 2009. With the love of movies, he pursued a film career. He attended the University of Central Arkansas in 2008 and completed his course in a year. He has acted in several plays and student projects since 2008.
